IMU Studios Inc. is looking to fill the role of Game Producer.
As the Producer, you will be responsible for the efficient management of development teams. You will oversee the advancement of the work and the attainment of production objectives as well as ensure high levels of motivation and commitment from coworkers.
Executive Duties
You will be required to demonstrate a high level of anticipation and proactiveness (quality & scheduling risk management) and to work directly with a multi-disciplined development team, ensuring teams complete their tasks on time.
On a day-to-day basis, the Game Producer will be accountable for coordinating their direct reports in achieving the overall progress of a development team toward previously established milestones for assigned products. Other coordination duties include tracking assigned tasks related to game development, including responsibilities such as coordinating with team leads and directors, managing backlog reports, preparing project-related documentation, and assisting with game updates.
This position will manage a team of game production leads and maintain oversight of all projects, ensuring the identification and communication of product goals and project progress to increase the quality of the projects and limit any risks that may arise.
You'll also set team direction to ensure project goals are met, manage the day-to-day work, be the custodian of delivery processes internal to the team, and ensure that collaboration with external teams runs smoothly. You will oversee delivery, build work systems, maintain execution, and provide leadership with visibility on deliverables. You will also ensure the team works at a sustainable pace and continuously improves.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Run daily team production operations checklists and development processes for our teams
Improve work systems, team performance metrics, and goal setting
Assess the team's health and composition to ensure that the team is set up for success
Partner with the Department Leads to develop a vision and development strategy for each team
Create and contribute ideas to areas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines
Manage the development team and maintain the overall focus and vision of the project
Prepare development plans
Analyze the project’s statistical metrics
Execute scrum plans
Set and distribute tasks among the members of the project team
Control development deadlines
Manage risks, analyze alternative scenarios, and make design decisions
Key Duties

Stay informed of community sentiment and suggest changes to management
Ensure smooth communication on the project on all levels
Management of products in short-term/long-term project cycles
Provide guidance and motivation to team members

What kind of professional are we looking for?
3+ years experience as a Game Producer or Project Manager
Fluent English. Verbal and Written
